YES SKYE & LOCHALSH

YES Skye & Lochalsh is a grassroots campaign that believes in the people of Scotland's right to choose a better future, in an independent Scotland.

In 2014, we provided information to help the communities of Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh make the decision to vote Yes. And they did - 55% voted YES. But it wasn't to be. Project Fear did its work and the referendum was lost. Things move on, circumstances change. But some things don't

The reality is, that no matter how Scotland votes at Westminster our quota of 59 MPs can be outvoted by the 73 MPs representing the Greater London area alone.

It is just a matter of time before Scotland becomes an independent country where the people who care most about Scotland - those who live in Scotland - are best placed to take decisions about our own future.

A country that has a national health service free to access, whether you are young or old. One where you will no longer have one of the worst pensions in Europe.  One where weapons of mass destruction are removed from our soil.

One where you are treated fairly and respectfully, no matter your sexuality, no matter where you are from. One where there are equal opportunities, no matter where you are born, rich or poor. One where we use our vast natural resources for the benefit of us all.

One where we get the government we vote for. One where we care about the sick and less fortunate. One where we are an outward looking inclusive prosperous country that measures its success by the happiness of its people

The future is clear - an outward looking independent Scotland where we decide our own future or an inward looking Brexit Britain where we have little say? Time to choose.

Our campaign reaches out to everyone that lives in Scotland. It doesn't matter where you are from, it's where we are going that counts. Join us.
